It can create and consider archives in RAR or ZIP file formats,[9] and unpack numerous archive file formats. To enable the user to check the integrity of archives, WinRAR embeds CRC32 or BLAKE2 checksums for every enter each archive. WinRAR supports creating encrypted, multi-part and self-extracting archives. WinRAR may be a Windows-only program. An Android application called "RAR for Android" is additionally available.[10] Related programs include the command-line utilities "RAR" and "UNRAR"[11] and versions for macOS,[8] Linux, FreeBSD, Windows CE, and MS-DOS.
